Loraine Newsome

Loraine Newsome is a Certified Biblical Counselor, Certified Life and Empowerment Coach, and a Mentor to young single Moms.
 
She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, market development, contract negotiation, and sales. However, her true passion is serving and helping those in need.
 
For over four years, she worked in the non-profit sector with pregnant single women providing guidance, counseling, resources, and support. As a Mom at 17, she understands the challenges of raising kids independently and wants to do her part in giving back. She advocates for unity among women, helping those often overlooked and using her life experiences and personal testimony to transform the lives of others.
 
She is the published author and co-author of the book The Survivor Behind The Name, where she shares a part of her life story and how God brought her through domestic and sexual abuse. Through her blog, The Views of Rainey J, she takes readers on a journey through her personal struggles to show the power of God’s glory, and through Him, there is nothing He can’t bring you through.
 
She is working on her next assignment, which will provide a safe space where women can freely be themselves through discussions and group support. It is a space of healing, restoration, release, and receiving what God has for them.
